Well, there was no Haggis! (If it’s made well, it’s really pretty good!) So instead, we Raised Our Glasses with Whisky and Saluted the poet! Probably not an acceptable party in Scotland, but the best we could do here in Boise, at least at our house. (As I write this, Robin is baking a Quiche Lorraine and it smells soooooo good!) But now for our menu for this party. And don’t forget to Left-Click any of these photos to see them enlarged. Check the label on the Buchannan’s Scotch Whisky. Cheers!
Happy Birthday Bobby Burns!

Thanks Gail. The Buchannan’s is a nice, mellow and smooth whisky. You can get labels for their whisky by going to their site and filling in the form. It made nice New Years gifts in 2008. Wow! That was 5 years ago! Cheers! It was a fun dinner.

Your Bobby Burns’ birthday looks fabulous; especially the Laproig (our favorite whiskys come from the Isle of Islay, all smokey and peaty) and Buchanan with your name on it! I haven’t tasted Buchanan, how is it? Looks like another fun celebration of the Scottish bard.
