We thank Jerri Nelson, Idaho Hotel, Silver City, Idaho, who sent us the recipe for the asparagus, so Robin and I decided to revise the menu for Easter. That asparagus dish really looks good. And the Challa, such a wonderful celebration bread!
Your menu for Easter sounds very good–other than the lamb that is. We are having very similar menu at my daughter’s house: lamb and prime rib, tomato aspic with shrimp, my mashed potato rolls, asparagus and green salad. Don’tknow what is for dessert. I think there will be about 30 people there. No, I don’t care for rabbit either. You know how I am: anything cute is not to be eaten. Beef is good, but not if I know the cow. Seafood is excellent;doesn’t have much personality and isn’t generally too adorable. Have fun with your family on Easter–I know you will. I can’t imagine it would be any other way with such a neat group.
